Still The Best Kept Secret!
The NC Free Will Baptist Minister's Benevolent
Fund is still the best-kept secret in North Carolina. In spite
of the fact that a report is given at our annual State Meeting,
it continues to be consistently overlooked by our ministers.
Only Free Will Baptist pastors, ministers and associates in North
Carolina are eligible for enrollment into the NC FWB Minister's
Benevolent Fund. The purpose of this ministry is to provide needed
money, as quickly as possible, to a spouse who has been widowed.
Let me explain how the benevolent fund works.
To enroll, there is $25 enrollment fee per individual. It is that
simple. After one has enrolled and the Promotional Director has
the proper contact information, you will be notify by mail when
another member(s) of the Benevolent Fund have died. In the letter
of notification, you will be given a date by which to submit your
$25.00 contribution fee. Those who do not respond with their contribution
are then removed from the program.
Once a individual has been enrolled in the program they remain
a member as long as they participate with their contributions.
This is true even if they move out of North Carolina. As long
as a member submits their contribution when they are notified,
they remain an active member. Therefore, in order to receive notification
of a member's death, it is important that you keep your address
current with the Promotional Office.
This program has been a blessing to many hurting people through
the years, and could prove to be beneficial to you and your spouse
as well. Why not take a few moments right now while you are thinking
about it, and write the Promotional Office a check for $25.00
and state on the memo line: Minister's Benevolent Fund. It will
be a blessing to you and other ministry partners.
